Pictish cat!

Martin and I picked Katie up from Stirling and headed up to the Pictish Stone Museum at Meigle in Perthshire. I had never heard of it until a visited there this week. It’s a lovely wee museum with a very informative Croatian curator who knew her stuff. This is the only cat ever found on a Pictish stone , so I had to take its photo! These stones date from about 700-900 AD.
We then continued our day out driving to Dundee waterfront.,where two out of three of us were not impressed with the style of the new V &A. We drove back via Dunblane, where the cathedral, cottages and riverside inn were more to my liking. A grand day out under a hot sun.
