Looming tree

Given we have lived in the area for 23 years, it is rather sad that we haven't visited the Boarstall Duck Decoy before. Calm, shady place, with some photographic potential. This fallen tree had beautiful light on it (but tricky exposure).  I saw a female Sparrowhawk perched in a tree by the hide but didn't have a long lens with me to enable me to get a decent shot. She knew I was there, but was in no hurry to move off. Well worth a visit.
