An Osprey and a Carp

This Osprey was watching over it's nest from a distance when a juvenile eagle came by.  It put it's wings up as a warning and the eagle left without incident. 

Please see today's extra photos for a shot of this Osprey's mate with a HUGE carp. It ate the head of the fish and then took the back 2/3 to the nest so that the kids could eat.
