Unmistakable

You just can’t mistake that amazing sound.
We were so lucky to hear and then see this Lancaster Bomber fly over our house this afternoon.
No camera the first time, but luckily it flew over again, and that is when I took this shot.
Unfortunately it had just clouded over, and so no blue sky background.
The reason for the fly past was The Yorkshire Wartime Experience which was taking place this weekend, only a couple of miles from where we live.
From a small field a few years ago, with just one or two army vehicles, it is now a large event.
I certainly think it will boost the farmer’s bank balance!

Another very hot day, although quite a lot of cloud. No sign of any rain, so it will be watering again tonight.
