Wing to Wind

Living near Duxford means we get a lot of interesting air traffic. This is a Dragon Rapide with a Spitfire. For £399 you can be a passenger in the Dragon whilst the Spitfire flies along beside you. 

They usually fly over us, turning at the church, sometimes the Spitfires will go a little off piste and give us a little bit of a show.

Anyway I love it when we hear the drone of the planes accompanied by the whistle of the supercharger on the Spitfires Merlin engine.
