Light over Glenelg bay
We had a superb day on beautifully calm water. Our boat, Sally slipped carlessly over the water towards Sandaig Islands. She carried the picnic and 4 of our party.
The rest of us walked down towards the islands to the awaiting lunch.
We all had great fun exploring, shell collecting, football and looking for scallops in the very low tide. The kids had a ball, the adults chilled and we spent a lovely couple of hours pottering. I was one of the lucky ones who got a lift back in the boat and managed to glimpse an otter gently fishing around the islands.
It really was a highlight of our holiday.
( For those who don't follow my journal, unfortunately this is not Sally :-( )
