Log raft

The raft of debris at the confluence of the Clutha and Kawarau Rivers at Cromwell.

I know it rained the night before last but I've never seen a raft of debris like this before. I wonder how it will be dealt with. It cannot go through the Clyde Dam - but how will they clear it.
