George

Staunch name, staunch cat....much loved as is Annie their other cat. Annie and George arrived here the same day, but have never really got on, they tolerate each other and have very different personalities. George has a large Elizabethan Queen fur collar thingi or a lion mane and his tail is not unlike the tail of a squirrel I see on Blip from time to time. As I'm typing he is curled up next to me and wanting me to scratch around his face and bunting the iPad for attention.
Extremely wet and wndy, and I mean extremely. But we did venture out this afternoon, the family to do some shopping, Doug and I to Shed 6 (on the waterfront) to view the Iris Awards......NZ Institute of Professional Photographers. Amazing viewing and very pleased that we made the effort in these hideous weather conditions.
Janelle and Ella (see yesterday's blip) are at the computer doing her collage application......with the zoning there are only two to choose from - their choice is Wellngton Girls. Hard to believe she will be at High School next year. Where did those twelve years disappear to?
