TGIF!

A busy week. Slight energy deficit this morning. Enthusiasm gone missing too. I kept at it tho'.

Encouraged by a delicious lunch by the sea. Only a buffalo burger in the car park at the harbour, but fun.

Also pepped up by an email from an old friend whom I haven't seen for 2-3 years, and we've arranged a beer tasting evening tomorrow.

Decided (pretty much on a whim) to go to see "my" ice hockey team (Edinburgh Capitals) play at Braehead in the evening. Braehead is a shopping centre just west of Glasgow.

Clan won easily 6-1, but it was closer than that. Caps just sagged in the last 10 minutes. Their goalie had one to forget. So did the ref.

The German national team (no doubt with 2 or 3 Ingolstadt players in it) beat Canada tonight, so that's an upset and it cheered me up.

Right, time to finish that bottle of cider and unwind after the drive home.
