Roque Bluffs hike
We had an easy little hike this afternoon with really perfect weather conditions. The heat and humidity of last week finally exited and today was bright and dry. The scenery on the hike was great, thick, mossy woods with many birches, some with real curly bark, views of Englishman's Bay and the scent of hemlock.
We rewarded ourselves after our walk with a stop at Helen's Restaurant in Machias for a lobster salad for me(#8 in my 2018 tally) and delicious cup of fish chowder for T along with some local fried clams and haddock. Raspberry got her usual lobster tidbit when we arrived back home in Machiasport.
For the Record,
This day came in warm and lovely with breezy sunshine.
The sunset last night.
All hands happy
