For a couple of weeks I've been watching as the Robin parents have been to and fro feeding their young in a nest in the greenhouse.
This morning the little black and white cat (not mine) was in the greenhouse, after I shooed him out I noticed that the flowerpots were scattered all over the floor. I started to tidy them up when I noticed this little baby sitting on the handle of an old wicker basket that's in there. I quickly grabbed a couple of photographs of him and then left him well alone.
During the day the parents have been feeding him, I just hope he survives the night. I don't know how many babies there were, if the cat had taken any or if any more are hiding and I haven't seen them. I can't shut him in the greenhouse because a) it's much too hot in there and b) the parents need access to feed him.
