West park
I walked through the park on my way back from a routine hospital appointment. It was lovely and almost made up for the hour’s delay to see the doctor. The grass looks very parched though. I never thought I’d say that about grass in the North West of England. They keep threatening us with a hose pipe ban. The boulder in the centre is reputed to have rolled there on a glacier in the ice age.
