Hosta

The background turned out a lot busier than I thought it would in this photo, so it hasn't really worked. The slightly blown highlights aren't helping either. Still, it's Hosta Patriot, just flowering. This is a pot grown one, so it gets watered; there are three others in the garden which haven't been watered and are showing no sign of flowering, presumably because of drought stress. It's so dry now that I've sort of decided to give up trying to save plants, see what dies this year, and not replant it. I think it's time to look at plants which can survive prolonged drought.
