The mystery deepens

Another busy day at work, but I did get a break this morning. Time enough for a coffee and a chapter of The House of Silk that I blipped the other day.

I'm getting quite into it, Horowitz has tried to write it in the style of the originals -I assume, I've never actually read any of his other stuff- and it works quite well. I don't think this snapshot gives anything away, though needless to say there's mystery and murder involved...

It was as I was reading that the sun decided to try and beat it's way through the omnipresent cloud that's been hanging around.
It did actually manage it...for all of about 5 seconds.
