Ragged around the edges
Pretty much how I feel. Having already typed a really long report on today, and been caught out again by the lightroom uploader deleting everything, I'll keep it short.
Conor was up all night with an ear infection, and as soon as he was fine my sinuses decided to join in the fun and games. So now I feel like my head has swollen to six times its normal size. And Katherine has a sore throat. We haven't really been sick much for ages, so this is pretty miserable.
Conor was taken to a fun palace of fun and joy (soft play centre in normal speak) by our neighbours, and while he was out Katherine and I went shopping for chips and came home with three apple trees. Well, three sticks in bags with pretty labels of apples on them anyway.
Basketball training for Katherine again tonight, and her first away match tomorrow, at which I am resolutely not going to be one of the driving parents... (I hope, since my plans for tomorrow involve more lying in a warm room and inhaling all the olbas oil I can find.)
Here's a gazania. I took my camera out to get a picture of the beautiful butterfly enjoying the sunshine and warmth - but it had wandered off by the time I found the right lens.
