Lavender Flowers
Another amazing day..... Terrifo and self left Birmingham early and popped down to Hidcote - a lovely National Trust property that was one of the first Arts and Crafts gardens created by Lawrence Johnston and his mother. It is a beautiful place, an area of garden rooms of varying flowers. Sadly at the moment due to the weather it is not at its best. I'll look forward to going when the rains return.
After Hidcote and being so close to Snowhill we popped in there for a quick couple of hours, some tea and lavender ice cream. Yum. Met a lady with a 'glass ball' balanced on her tripod. She let me play a while...huge fun!
Then we headed home, on country roads as the M5 was chokka according to the news! Home by 8.30 pm, ready for a G&T and bed!
Huge apologies for lack of commenting - will endeavour to catch up over the weekend.
