Dinner with the Mrs

My sojourn into the history of the Vietnam war continues and my incredulity at the actions of the American government continues to grow. My favorite pieces though are the interviews with the veterans, and one guy in particular who is so brutally honest about what happened and how it felt to be there. To this day he confesses to bring afraid of the dark and when he tells the story of how he was triaged 3 times by doctors who had written him off for dead and not therefore a priority, you can see how much that has scarred him to this day. A terrible war and another lesson not learnt.

Dammit, didn't know this was an anniversary blip, I would have done something special, not that SWMBO isn't special :-)
