Baking

Tomorrow is The Revel. It is a traditional country fayre - brass band, dancers in local costume, clarinet choir, cakes, bouncy castle, teas, bbq and lots more. It's one of the highlights of the year.

My bit is baking. I don't think I will be well enough to do anything on the day but I can bake.

S broke up today at lunchtime today and spent the afternoon on the beach with her friends. She has packed this evening ready for her first solo flight tomorrow. If everything goes to plan J flies down from Inverness to meet my parents at Gatwick North about an hour and a half before S lands at Gatwick South from Guernsey. S and J are then having a holiday in the New Forest with Gran and Grandad.

As soon as the last chocolate cake comes out of the oven I'm off to bed!
