Building work

This is #2 daughter coming down after inspection the building work. They are living in the mess, which has been going on some months, with 2 little boys. They extended into the attic and had an old conservatory pulled down to allow for a kitchen/dining area, with another bedroom above it, in addition to rewiring etc. It is at the stage where it is much worse than before but hopefully it will soon come together.

We collected the boys from school and nursery and took them to the beach for a run round. They played well together, suggesting things and cooperating. At first they were happy to dig holes which had to be filled with buckets of water from the sea. But the lure of running into the sea and dashing back to escape the waves was too much and they ended up getting soaked.

They were both in great form. Thomas was happy with his new classroom (not bothered which teacher he had) as he could see the Spanish City dome from the window. I expect he’ll be drawing that. He’s been busy with World Cup drawings. James had been good at nursery - which doesn’t happen every day.
