Black birds feeding

Sitting in the garden this morning, we were entertained by a female black bird feeding the young (above). While she was whizzing past at a rate of knots the youngster was sat waiting for the next worm except when she thought I was getting a little too close and he was ushered down out of sight. 
While all this was going on a goldfinch (extra photo) was sat nearby watching
