went down to cleevdon to visit my nan as she just came out of hospital and decided not to tell anyone she had gone in, she all well and healthy now, went down to the pier but my battery on my camera died before i had the chance to take any pictures :( got quite interested into all the ghost stories of cleevdon pier. For those of you who haven't heard of the apparent hauntings, in the early hours of the morning there has been a few sightings by fishermen (using the high tide to fish off the end of the pier) of a male figure either seated on the benches down the side of the pier where there is a number of engraved memorial plaques, or the figure has been spotted leaning on the rail at the end of the pier looking out to sea. i found out quite a few years back a man had committed suicide of the pier and with ever sighting a smell of burnt toast appears in the entrance end of the pier and then suddenly disappears.
There has been photos taking were an A-Level student has taken 30 frames in 1 second and the figure is only in 1 frame, smack bang in the middle of the shots and there is no evidence of the figure entering or leaving the shot......creepy right?
