Destruction
Was a bit better in getting up this morning.
Had a few calls lined up but things are still quiet. So unusual and sooooo nice.
Neil came home from school and started working and I used half an hour between calls to get to the French for a brekfast. Today I treated myself with a pain au chocolat and a pain au raisin! All that while sitting in the sun and watching the world go by. I like this kind of life!
Back home I continued with calls and work until Neil came and asked me if I wanted to go out for a coffee and an icecream! In German! He is making a lot of progress! It is great.
We went for a coffee first, then walked to the Eismanufaktur off Mehringdamm. This is the most amazing icecream!!
It was hot today and the ice cream was a real treat. We then walked to the restaurant and booked a table for Friday when Christina is coming. We then wandered along Yorkstrasse to the park at Gleisdreieck and back past the Thai/Bavarian (really!!!) beer garden. The England game had just started and we decided to find a table and watch.
We were sitting with a few local men and it was quite fun. We had beer and food and watched football!
So happy that England won the penalties!
What a nice day.
It is so different to have a life alongside work - I had totally forgotten how that feels!
Blip. This guy was hammering a big hole in a wall beside the flower shop. No idea what that will become.
