The Fourth

Ended up doing some errands, stopped for some late breakfast (so late in fact, it became lunch!), and headed down to my parents' home for a visit. On the way home we stopped at a grocery store and I waited in the car with the dogs. Fireworks started popping off in front of our car and behind. While I was dazzled, both pups were shaking on my lap, convinced that the sky was falling. Poor pups :( This is a terrible photo, but all I had was my phone and a pile of pups on my lap ;)
