A day in the garden.

This rose bush was a Silver Wedding present from friends. Now in it’s fifth summer, and going strong. It has a gentle perfume, is a clean white and the blooms have lovely pink tipped petals
Today involved lots of pruning, tidying and a bit of weeding. And cutting the grass; it’s looking better than before.
We’d a few water breaks on the bench under the tree. And lunch and dinner on the patio. A hard shift, but worthwhile.
