Abstract Bottle Brush

This doesn't meet the abstract theme of rural, but I like the abstract close up of my bottle brush aka Callistemon. I planted it last year so this is the first time I've seen it flower and it looks lovely.

A visit from the alarm engineer this morning - the one that visited the other day to fix a fault had reprogrammed it incorrectly. This afternoon I went to the hospital to see a consultant.. As my symptoms are quiet at the moment he said I had two options, the first staying as I am with a specific diet, the second having an operation for which there is 9-12 month waiting list. I opted for the first option having listened to the risks.  Travel insurance arranged - still nearly £300 for a single trip!!!!!
