Edinburgh summer esplanade tree

The heat today was almost tropical, as were the views along my midday cycle ride, as blipped. Mr hazelh and I decided to make the most of the weather by switching around our meals today: we had soup and sandwiches for dinner, and a barbecue at lunchtime followed by Mar bar ice creams (yum!)

The detail above may give the impression that I have had an easy day. However, for most of the day I have been slaving away at my machine in a bid to finish my slides for next week's event. I managed to send them over to Bruce for checking at 8:30pm.

Exercise today: 11 mile bike ride.
