Drunken houses!

We’re now in Stockport!  On the fifth floor of a lovely modern hotel!  We arrived later than expected as when we reached the main road the wheel on Ro’s siutcase lost its tyre!  So back home to change!  Good thing we weren’t in a hurry!

Hot but fine journey, checked in and had a wander round the town.  I’d only been there once before and loved the hat museum and the Plaza tearoom! Both great!

This time our timing was off.  Everything was closed except the big supermarkets and a few bars, where people were enjoying the sun and supping drinks!  Otherwise it resembled the Marie Celeste!!  

Back to our hotel!  I had a delicious chicken, avocado, strawberry and spinach salad and Ro : Chicken Jalfrezi which he loved and which looked delicious too!  now we are relaxing.  Tomorrow we are off early!
