Sami didn't survive the operation. The tumour was full of blood vessels and it bled so much it was impossible to save him. Our hearts are broken and there aren't enough words to describe our grief.

This photo is one of the last ones I have of Sami, at 7:55 this morning, taken next to the veterinarian center Eläinystäväsi Lääkäri. (The building is one of protected Rahola manor courtyard buildings). As an extra photo is one taken by hubby, right after X-ray (no metastasis were found). At this phase we were optimistic to get our dog home in the evening.
