walking into halifax i find it hard not to admire all souls church and the architecture . a beautiful building
This Halifax landmark is one of most magnificent buildings to be designed by architect Sir George Gilbert Scott and paid for by Edward Akroyd, a Halifax manufacturer. Scott thought it his best church but he still lamented it was not grander still.Completed in 1859, it has a 72-metre-high spire and dazzling stained glass created by Victorian master craftsmen.
