Postcard from Fritzlar

Overnighting in Fritzlar, yet another small town in Hessen. This is the Grey Tower, pretty self-descriptive really, one of about a dozen towers on the old-town wall dating from the Middle Ages and that are still standing or have been restored. One of them has been incorporated into the hospital and seems to now host all its chimneys. Old meets new.
It's hot, about 30C, so sightseeing has been pretty minimal. Beer drinking however has been extensive. Well, I wouldn't want to dehydrate.
