Hawk
I couldnt resist posting a Blip tonight as this is the first time I have captured a hawk on the ground.
I was out doing the cardiac component of my Course (with a camera naturally) at the estuary , when a hawk landed close by and proceeded to tear up its meal. That is the closest I have ever been to a hawk and wished I had taken the better camera. It was a grey day and the light was flat but it was fascinating to be so close and see the detail. I don't know whether that is part of his meal around his mouth or discolouration on his beak.
Now I have to catch up with the time I lost when I should have been working at the course.....
