Wiggy Wacky Weather

Severe weather warning: all wig wearers are advised to to stay indoors today unless it is absolutely necessary to venture outdoors. 95% chance of wig detachment.

Seriously though, even though the typhoon which had been approaching us has now headed north, we are suffering from very severe wind and rain storms. There is a kei-ho (severe weather warning) in effect which has cancelled many trains and closed hundreds of schools. Earlier this morning there was an evacuation order for people in our neighbourhood living near rivers and hills. So, I won't be going very far today. Getting some work done instead, and hoping for better weather tomorrow.

Over 10,000 people now evacuated in our area. Heavy rain and dangerous strong wind forecast to continue through Saturday.
