Baby Birds

I've had such a good time watching the juveniles this year.  This time it's a Red-bellied Woodpecker.  I spent a couple of hours in the kitchen, baking a blueberry pie and preparing for a barbecue.  The activity at the feeders kept me entertained.  It's only the second time I've made my own crust, so it wasn't the prettiest result, but the ingredients were all there so it was sweet and tasty.  Now I'm ready to try a peach version.
