And We're Off...

This has been a long time coming, we began arranging this year's holiday last August and only finalised some details a few days ago. We're off to London for a few days before heading off way out east. It's Ms H's 18th birthday tomorrow and we have a few surprises for her... in fact this holiday was planned because we once promised her, ok maybe many times when dreams were just dreams, to take her to the origin of her name.

The blip is the obligatory one if they fly us past this view, it is much more splendid in the flesh and not through a dirty window. Although we're off... I am still working for 2 days, WFH we call it, working from hotel as opposed to home, while the girls galavant!

I get quite stressed just before leaving on holiday, in case I forget something or we are late! We ended up with an hour to spare only to find we were delayed another hour anyway. I thought I had remembered everything until I felt my chin... oh oh... beard not trimmed... last done 2 weeks ago... oh oh... there might be some Robinson Crusoe blips!
