Vine leaf

A great evening last night - lovely to see Earthdreamery again. They'd had a wonderful day down at Dooneen where the light had been amazing, the sun shone, rainbows, sparkled and donkeys frolicked . Himself 's chilli was historic - some amongst us (you know who you are) had 3rds!! This was followed by TJ's ultra rich and gooey chocolate cake plus little sparklers I'd smuggled back from the UK (banned here) as it was midwifecrisis's birthday.

The first day in a while that I've had no commitments so I've been enjoying a leisurely catch-up kind of day. We 've just had a quick bash around the walking circuit, stopping off for a game of table tennis as we passed our friends' house - himself was thrashed.

The last two episodes of Homeland series 1 to watch tonight- I know there will be no resolution but it's gripping stuff.
