Beavers BBQ

A day of playgroup, lunch then catching up with friends in the garden before heading to school for pickup. It was so humid and muggy that rain was almost inevitable but I still wasn’t convinced it’d come.

Off we set to Bucklebury for the annual Beavers BBQ - they did it so well, huge BBQ and shared buffet, everyone brought their own little picnic chairs and set up an area and there were lots of outdoor games laid out which the children were loving.

Thankfully we got our BBQ dinner, had a chat and T arrived from work to join us before the rain began. Specks at first, followed by full blown downpours. Amazing how quickly a field full of picnicking beavers, cubs and scouts and families can flee and fill the scout hut!!

A great time was still had!!
