Remarkable Roots

They belong to a massive tree in Rivey Wood and act as steps up the slope to the top where a rope swing can be found.

I have spent many hours over the years standing at just this point whilst various combinations of children took turns to have a go. These days just me and the dog walk that way.

Got up at 5.00am to see Ben off on a school trip to Belgium & France to see "The Battlefields". They will visit the trenches and memorials to the estimated 90,000 British soldiers that died there in WW1.

After that it was a long staring-at-the-computer sort of day waiting for things to upload/download and re-appear. But going to see clients on my own representing Nextnorth feels like a vote of confidence. Thank you Andrew!
