Dog kennel - 1938 style !

I visited friends this morning and while out admiring their enormous vegetable garden M pointed out this old kennel that looks as if it hasn’t been used for many a year. It is hard to believe the wood has survived the Scottish climate for 80 years.

The kennel must have belonged to M’s mother as they have lived in this house for many years . They used to show and breed dogs, mainly labradors but they now only have 3 dogs - all house dogs these days.
