Summer Break

The weather changed from endless blue skies to a grey sky with blue holes.  Didn't change the temperature very much though.  It's still oppressively hot - I even woke up not wrapped in my quilt.

It was a good day.  Working with a colleague from another team and clearing up loads of problems.  It was the sort of day where I remember that I'm not stupid.  I like them quite a lot.

Interestingly the chat at lunchtime was all about England and how they managed to overcome their Elf-Meter* Hoodoo.

That was fun to watch.

* What a penalty is called in German - Elf is the German for eleven.
