Luskentyre beach

Took Kilda for a run on the beach while J got breakfast ready. Still windy so not much fun. Headed down to Horgabost campsite and beach to see what that was like. Defiantly more sheltered than where we were and will use it next time. Walked up to see the McCloud stone before having lunch. Spent the afternoon on the Horgsbost beach where J managed to get a bit of a swim and I finally got to fly my kite. Left there and went over to the other side of the inlet to the Luskentyre beach. This had been voted the best beach in the UK and you can see why, even Kilda was jumping for joy. Fantastic long sandy beach at low tide. Had to cut the beach walk a bit short so we cold head over to our campsite on the east coast. Went for a walk after dinner to see if we could find the sea otters again but no luck and could only find the local midges.
