Bee at work

I woke up this morning feeling good and looking forward to a great day. An old University friend, M, was coming en route to York. We chatted, took the scooter for a spin where I captured this blip, had lunch at my favourite cafe and then escaped the heat for a beer and more chat. It was such a lovely afternoon, I am always surprised how easy it is to pick up conversations with old friends you don’t see too often. He will be back for our 7th annual bbq in 3 weeks so another chance for reflective discourse.

And England won!
