Some old stuff

Mum came down today and we had a look round the charity shops in Gala, one of Mum’s favourite pass times. After lunch in Hunters Hall we decided to pop over to Melrose for a look at the new charity shop. It used to be at the top of the town, but has moved into where the Co-op was before it moved last year. It’s a lot bigger than the old shop and it’s a bit like a warren inside.

In a back room, they have a display above head height of things that were found when they cleared out the attic. I found these fascinating.
