Cabbage White butterfly...

Not everyones favourite but a sure sign of summer.

Another busy day for us, we went over to Spire Hospital for Margaret to see the eye consultant for a check on her eye. Thankfully there has been some progress and her condition seems to have stabilised.  Also she has an appointment at Addenbrookes next Monday (with the same consultant) to continue her treatments now funded by NHS.

This afternoon Margaret attended a meeting at the Fulbourn hospital to be briefed about a new initiative on engaging with patients and the role of volunteers in mental health.

The Cabbage White is stoking up on the lavender no doubt before laying its eggs on the nastiertiums...
