Oh so quiet

It is very quiet here in rural France at this time of the year. At one time all restaurants would close whereas now there might be a few still open but not many! The roads are deserted .. the only thing that blocked our way for moment today was a combine harvester ... We went down to Luc's bar for a coffee and were the only ones in there ... Probably the busiest place is the Boulangerie.. Everyone buys bread no matter what! This photo is down the side street from the bar ... I did try to take out the telegraph wires but they were just too complex. I wish I could airbrush them out in real life too! They do rather spoil the view but this is how it is.. This restaurant on the corner is undoubtedly closed... And the air today is completely still... we love it like this.
