1220

Drove to the Cotswolds tonight for an overnight stay in England’s oldest hotel, The Old Bell in Malmesbury. Its origins date back to 1220, when it first opened as a ‘guest house’ next to the town’s ancient abbey. Appropriately we watched England’s exciting World Cup penalty victory against Colombia over dinner.
This under-lit SsangYong Musso pickup truck was parked outside on the terrace, and it is the reason for the trip. Tomorrow we will be driving it on and off-road to write about for magazine and website reviews.
