Lift fast...

When a lift engineer writes a note and someone finishes the sentence... This makes me chuckle every time I travel in this lift at work.

I’m getting used to wearing skirts and dresses now that the sun has shone so warmly for so long. My skirt today received so many nice comments that I had to share the link with my colleagues. If you’re after some lovely, unusual, high-quality skirts, visit Nicola Quilter.

We had a sociable lunch today at the park. One of my colleagues is going to be a contestant on Mastermind and she gave us an entertaining lecture on her specialist subject. Part 2 of the lecture is on a Thursday. I’m in awe of her recall skills!

We had a depleted Feast meeting due to the football, but it was productive. We have lots of ideas for the coming months.

During my shopping for tea afterwards, I was chatting to a neighbour and Fred appeared with a basket of his own. Great minds! We’d doubled up on milk but nothing else.

After all that, I plumped for a bag of chips and caught the last bit of the footie. I always feel so sorry for players when it ends on a penalty shootout.

Poor Mini isn’t of sorts. She’s not saying hello to us, though she doesn’t mind a bit of play and is hanging out around us and Juno. She’s holding her tail in a non-Mini way so perhaps she’s hurt herself. Time will tell. Paws crossed that she’ll be back to her cheery, cheeky self soon.
