Another trip

It seems that my trip to the bottle bank has become an everyday habit. Well almost!

The talk of the moment is how you cope with unnecessary plastic wrappings on seemingly all kinds of food we buy. But while I have no time for the extent of plastic wrapping I find at supermarkets on everything from tomatoes to cucumbers, cakes to fresh meats or fish, I have to admit to being equally worried about bottles.

It seems that it was only yesterday I had a box of bottles to discard, and yet today I open the boot again and realise there are another six to recycle.
Honestly, I haven’t been through that much wine and my salvation is that there are non alcohol bottles as well.
