Tints and Twirls

This pile of leaves was lying in a shady corner with their colours quite muted. I had Milly on the lead and was trying to take the picture one handed when she pulled as I pressed the shutter. The result was a twisted blurr.

I took the shot again and when I got home applied a distortion filter called 'Shear'. I then applied 'Spherize' and before closing a small amount of 'Twirl'.

The result is abstract but it also shows how natures colours can be made into fabric designs and none of the colours clash.
