Back home
Out of the car, and down the garden path.
Can’t wait to see what has happened to the garden while we have been away.
This year it has been a very difficult year for our son, who was in charge of watering.
We had no idea the weather would be so hot back in England while we were away.
Most things seem to have survived, and some that weren’t looking too good, have perked up after I have given them a good water.
This little Hottentot Fig from South Africa has flowered for the first time. It has loved the hot dry weather.
On the other hand the potatoes don’t look good, but will have to wait and see when we pull them up.
Six lots of washing dried. Now a large pile of ironing to do tomorrow.
Enjoyed our first bottle of rose.
So nice to come home to good weather.
I will have to do a couple of back blips tomorrow.
Rather tired now.
Mr C is watching the football!
Unfortunately Columbia have just equalised!
Not happy!
