Shield bug

I was going to blip the volunteers (extras today as some familes came) moving earth to make a bee bank in the nature area but this shield bug landed by us just asking for photos!.
We didn't get the bank finished as the quarry failed to deliver the sand for the top layer, maybe tomorrow.
Picked the first of the blackcurrants.
